Planning a Trip with an AI Agent, Using Birdfeeder's MCP Server

I asked an AI agent what I'd bookmarked about London that was worth visiting. It came back with a tropical greenhouse hidden on the third floor of the Barbican, and a café inside a Christopher Wren church I'd bookmarked from Londonist weeks earlier. Plus a pub from 1668 right across the street from it. I hadn't described any of this to the agent. It found it because I'd already bookmarked it once on X.

That only works because Birdfeeder turns your X, Bluesky or Mastodon bookmarks into something an AI agent can actually query. X's own bookmark tab has no good search built in, so once you're past a few saved posts, finding something later becomes annoying quickly. Birdfeeder has a powerful full-text search for exactly that reason, and the MCP server hands that same search to whatever AI agent you use, not just the Birdfeeder website.

I ran this with Hermes Agent and just pointed it to the Birdfeeder MCP. You can connect other tools of your own to the same agent the same way, an RSS reader, a notes app, whatever else speaks MCP, and it'll pull from all of them in one answer.

The MCP server is included on every plan, nothing extra to set up beyond generating a token in Settings. And it isn't limited to trip planning. Once it's connected, an agent can answer from your bookmarks for whatever you actually ask it.
